Cherry Cola: This beautiful shepherd/husky girl is about 8 months old. She is spayed and ready to find her forever home. Her beautiful eyes will steal your heart.

Gil: This sweet boy has been at the shelter since March and is still patiently waiting for his forever home. He is neutered and about 2 years old. He can be picky with his dog friends so it is highly recommended to do a meet-and-greet at the shelter. He is not a fan of cats.

Asher: This precious boy is 14 years old. He came into the shelter with his sister, Rose, after their owner sadly died. He is neutered and is ready to find a home where he can live out the rest of his life.

Rose: This sweet girl is 14 years old. She came into the shelter with her brother, Asher, after their owner sadly died. She is spayed and ready to find her forever home. She is shy but with patience she will warm up.

All adoptions include up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, a spay or neuter and dogs will be heartworm tested.

Animal services is in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, ¶®É«µÛ, NC 28655.

Those in need of pet food can stop by animal services and fill out a one-time informational form and let them know what you need.
