A 懂色帝 man was arrested Monday morning in connection to the Swink Street double homicide case, according to the Burke County Sheriff鈥檚 Office.
Michael James Moretz, 51, of 懂色帝, is charged with two counts of felony murder in connection with the deaths of Michael Curtis Hallyburton and Joseph Kincaid Byrd Jr., the sheriff鈥檚 office said in a news release.
Byrd and Hallyburton were found dead at the scene of a house fire on Swink Street on Aug. 31. Byrd and Hallyburton were both shot, the sheriff鈥檚 office said previously.

The cause of the men's deaths and the cause of the fire have not been released.
Moretz is being held without bond and is scheduled to make a first appearance in Burke County District Court on Thursday.
Moretz is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
