The Wildcats filed into the high school gym donned in black and gold gowns with the music of “Pomp and Circumstance” echoing through the stands. The school’s chorus sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” to start the ceremony.
The 158 seniors earned 1,013 college credits and $758,000 in scholarships.
“On behalf of the faculty and staff, thank you for the energy, laughter, and memories you’ve brought to our school,” said Draughn Principal Charles Williams. “You’ve left your mark, and we are better because of you. We believe in you, we are proud of you, and we can’t wait to see the difference you’ll make in the world.”
