Thor: This dog is about 1 year old and neutered. He is doing well with other animals and loves to play. He is the cutest boy who loves to play with his friends here. His best friend is Tucker, who is our other Dog of the Week. You will easily fall in love with his sweet face.

Tucker: This lovable dog is about 1 year old and neutered. He is a sweet guy with lots of energy, so he needs a yard or a friend. He loves other dogs and plays well with others. He loves to play with his best friend Thor.

Leo: This sweet cat has had a hard beginning. After being picked up by a kind citizen after the citizen witnessed him being thrown from a car, Leo was brought to the shelter for medical care. He went into foster with one of the staff and he blossomed. He is a sweet guy who loves other animals and loves to play. He is about 3 months old.
Gargoyle: This kitten is about 3 months old. She is doing well with other animals and is super sweet. She can be a little shy at first but warms up very quickly once you give her love.
All adoptions include up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, a spay or neuter and dogs will be heartworm tested.
Animal services is in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, ¶®É«µÛ, NC 28655.
